Our Program

Our well thought out and effective program will promote the growth and stability of all active

residents of TINY TOWN CA. Our main goal is to break the cycle of homelessness for our unhoused women and children of Los Angeles County!

**WE ARE NOT A MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY AND DO NOT HAVE MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS ON SITE

*THE WOMEN AND CHILDREN OF TINY TOWN CA

WILL BE AWAKENED EVERY MORNING WITH

POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS AT 6:30-7:30 THROUGH OUT THE COMMUNITY!

Phase 1

First Month

Relaxation

The first month of our program consist of rest, relaxation, and restoration. As you could probably imagine, these mothers and children do not experience restful sleep while they are in an unhoused situation.

We will also be connecting them with mental health providers to call and get care. We are implementing a “cry room” so they can get the privacy that they need to be transparent and away from the children. The children will also have this access.

We will also schedule them to receive massages, hair care, nail care, health and dental care appointments, social services, and clothing resources. This will aid in self-esteem and improve self-image.

Each family will be assigned a Life Coach to keep them encouraged and accountable. Every Life Coach

will also serve as an advocate for the family to assist every level of personal growth.

Second Month

Month 2 will consist of field trips to beautiful places in nature and local Museums.

We will be taking our families to Jackson Lake, Paradise Springs, Silverwood Lake, Museum of Science and Industry, The Getty Museum, The Huntington Museum and The Museum of Natural History in Los Angeles. This will provide them exposure to beautiful things and awaken their creativity.

In this month we will be exploring their natural talents such as sewing, painting, jewelry making, knitting etc. Participants will be connected with workshops and classes to master their crafts. The next step will be to help them monetize their goods and services by creating a small business.

They will get their EIN and business licenses and be connected to online applications such as Etsy and Amazon.

We will also be giving workshops for website building and logo creation through our partner Masterminds Social Media Management.

Month 3

In the third month our residents will be actively pursuing a career path and connected to schools and online programs where they can get a California State license such as insurance and Real Estate.

We will also be connecting them with resources that the County of Los Angeles offers for job readiness and connections to qualified professionals to start a career at the County of Los Angeles.

Month 4

These months will consist of schooling and work study for their new businesses.

We will also be connecting them with resources to correct their credit so that they may qualify to purchase a home, land, or maintain a rental living space.

We will also be connecting our residents to mentorship programs in their professional field of interest and jobs.
